Wednesday Mar 19 - War Protest and Vigil. March 19 is the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War. John Auer, Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Reno, is asking fellow Reno area clergy
and all interested individuals to join him in 'dropping by' the offices of Senators Ensign and Reid and Congressman Heller throughout the day March 19, requesting our elected officials' help in
bringing an immediate end to the war. The day will end with a vigil at 5:30. Reno Friends Meeting will consider formally adopting a statement written by John at our next Business Meeting.

Every Monday - Peace Vigil sponsored by SIAP, 5:30 pm in front of the Bruce R. Thompson Federal Building & Court House (Virginia & Liberty)
Tuesday Mar 11 - Sierra Interfaith Action for Peace meeting, 5:30 pm at the meetinghouse (second Tuesday of every month). SIAP is an ecumenical peace action group -- all are welcome.
